Every birth is unique therefore every new mother will be respond to her experience in her own way after giving birth.

Postnatal yoga aims to empower and nurture your new motherhood role and not deplete precious energy stores. Please do not expect a dynamic practice with vinyasa flows and strongly aligned postures such as Warrior 1 and 2 followed by inversions for example, as these would not aid your postnatal recovery.
During this phase, we work gently from the inside out and reset the foundation, both physical and energetic. Your abdominal muscles and pelvic floor need time to recover so they can work as a support system when the body is in motion, all whilst the production of relaxin continues to reduce and the joints become more stable.
Expect a kind and gradual phasing yoga practice to help assist you realigning yourself with your ‘new normal’. The four phases are Reconfiguration, Recovery, Rehabilitation and Rebuilding
